Different things should have different policies.

Pages are delivered through GitHub Pages. When your browser requests the site, GitHub can receive ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser information, and the page being requested. GitHub's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy terms.

The site's live-weather feature is optional and does not request location when a page loads. If you choose “Use local weather,” your browser asks for location permission. The page requests a low-accuracy, one-time location fix, rounds latitude and longitude to two decimal places, and sends those rounded coordinates to MET Norway to request local forecast conditions. The rounded location is also used in the page to calculate an approximate local sun position. Foxmoss does not save the precise or rounded coordinates to an account, analytics system, server-side database, cookie, or local storage. While live weather remains enabled on the open page, the rounded coordinates stay in page memory so weather can refresh occasionally. Turning live weather off or closing the page discards that in-memory location. Turning the feature off does not itself revoke a browser permission you previously granted; browser permissions remain under your browser or device controls. Because the weather request goes directly from your browser to MET Norway, MET Norway can receive the rounded coordinates and ordinary request information such as your IP address under its own terms and privacy practices. Foxmoss adapts the returned forecast data into decorative light, wind, rain, fog, plant motion, and optional environmental sound rather than displaying it as a weather report.

The website can store one simple Audio on/off preference in your browser's local storage so that choice can persist between visits. That preference contains no account identifier, location, listening history, or analytics data. Live-weather coordinates are not stored there. Foxmoss does not provide a website account or intentionally set its own analytics or advertising cookies on these pages. Clearing this site's browser data also clears the saved audio preference. External hosting or resource providers may operate under their own technical and privacy practices.

The site currently loads the Alice font from Google Fonts and Normalize.css from cdnjs. Those services receive the browser requests needed to deliver those resources. Foxmoss does not use those requests as an analytics system.

If you email emira.support@gmail.com, Foxmoss receives the message and anything you choose to include so it can respond. That correspondence is separate from data stored inside Emira.
